Team

Ivaylo Penev is a member of the Board of Directors and a CEO at ELANA Fund Management. He also acts as the Head of the Asset Management Team in the company.  

Ivaylo started his career in Finance in 2001 with a position at what was then First Eastern International Bank (now International Asset Bank). After a short internship in the accounting department, he was offered a full-time position in the Liquidity, Markets and Investments Department, where he was in charge of trading with securities and currencies. In 2004, he joined the ELANA Group, first in the International Trade Department of ELANA Trading, after which, in 2007, he joined the Asset Management Team at ELANA Fund Management. 

Ivaylo Penev holds a Masters Degree in Finance, with a focus on Banking, from the University of National and World Economy, an MBA from the Vienna University Executive Academy, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has held thematic lectures at the American University in Blagoevgrad and has contributed to the summer academy of the Atanas Burov Foundation. Ivaylo has also given lectures as part of the Masters Programme in Finance of the New Bulgarian University.
